Sörenberg - Rothorn

Gourmets and hikers on the Brienz Rothorn, the highest summit in the canton of Lucerne, really get their money's worth. The Brienzer Rothorn cable car takes you to the summit in 7 minutes. There is a 360° top class panorama with views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau and up to 690 further peaks to marvel at. The Ibex Trek, the two-day hike, runs from Rossweid over the Rothorn and to the Lake Ei anglers' paradise. There is much in the way of beautiful flora and fauna to discover as you walk.
